Adventure Camp
Getting bored with the same old same old? Give Adventure Camp a try. These challenging weeks are designed for campers grades 8-12 who like to venture beyond the picnic table.
Each day brings a new challenge and a new adventure! Mountain biking, rock climbing, paintball, hiking and rock hopping are all part of the fun. Camping out and cooking over the fire top off the adventure.
No experience necessary. Equipment, gear and transportation are provided. Housing is in tents.

Speaker: Chris Schank
Over the last 15 years, Chris has shared the joy of knowing Christ, as a Christian School Teacher, Youth Pastor, and College Pastor. He has spoken to thousands of teens over the years and thoroughly enjoys sharing the grace and truth of Jesus Christ. Chris married Laura Hamrick on Valentine’s Day of 2004 and March of 2010, they received a gift from God in their daughter Stella Dare. Chris is currently completing a Masters in Biblical Studies from Piedmont Baptist Graduate School and teaching High School Bible at Faith Christian School in Rocky Mount, NC.

Speaker: Steve Johns
Steve worked at the Northland Camp and Conference Center for over three years. At Northland, Steve served in many areas, including Publications, Promotions, Personnel Manager, and Supervisor of Counselors.
Steve became the Assistant Pastor at Long Lake Community Bible Church in Long Lake, Wisconsin, in January of 2005 and served there until August of 2006. Steve currently is the Assistant Pastor at Kennerly Road Baptist Church in Irmo, South Carolina.

Speaker: Jim Pitts
Jim is the pastor of Student Ministries at Bethel Church in Crown Point, Indiana, and has a wealth of experience in ministry to teens (15 years). His passion is to reach this generation of students with the gospel and see them integrate their faith into every dimension of life.
Jim is married to his wife Amy and they have three children. He has many interests including martial arts (two- time national champion), youth culture, reading, hiking, and cheering his kids in their many activities.

Speaker: Beau Eckert
Beau has been the College and Young Adult Pastor at Calvary Church in Lancaster, PA since 2002. He played both football and baseball in high school and college. After graduating with a degree in history and government from Franklin and Marshall College, he spent 7 months in Africa on a short term missions trip. Upon his return, Beau began an internship at Calvary Church with Student Ministry. He then attended seminary and received a Master's of Divinity. He and his wife Erika were married in August of 2001. They have 3 children - Ana, Mary and Sara. Beau is a passionate Bible preacher and teacher, and his heart's desire is to see students and young adults faithfully live out their relationship with God.
